We celebrated Gemma's birthday early so Brian could be there. She is so sweet. She couldn't believet that we gave her her own piece of chocolate cake. Yummy!

Safe and Sound

I spoke with Brian this morning and he is safe and sound in Doha. He is staying at the Gloria Hotel in Doha. If anyone has money to burn and wants to call him he can be reached at 0119744236666 room 1210. He didn't see anything of Doha as it was dark when he arrived. They lost his luggage so he spent the night washing his clothes out in the sink. Cross your fingers that his bags arrive today. Boy do I miss him. Has it only been 1 day? Seems longer...... Much Longer......

It's Official

Well the moment we've all been waiting for and in some cases dreading, Brian got his tickets yesterday and will fly out to Doha on Sunday the 22nd. This sure makes it more real. I'm so going to miss him. And I know so will the girls.

We've been going through clothes, toys, books etc and giving them to a company that helps kids in need. Maya was so grown up this morning and went through all of her toys and books and made the decision to give a bunch of things to the kids that need them. I have never been more proud of her.
