Daddy brought a Wii back home from North Carolina. We have been having tons of fun with it and I'm loving the Wii Fit portion. Yesterday the girls and I were making some Mii's. Maya wanted to make an Oba and an Oji. So we were picking the faces, eyes etc. I chose some wrinkles and Maya said, Mommy what are you doing? Oba and Oji don't have wrinkles!

That's My Maya
Today I was watching Maya out of the corner of my eye wondering what she was doing. She picked up several things from around the house and put them on an end table. She then told me she was opening a store and asked me if I wanted to come and buy something. I said sure and walked over. She looked me up and down and asked me where my money was. I held out my empty hand and said, here it is. She looked at me with a Mom, you are such and idiot look and said (quite snotty I might add), I only take Qatari Riyal. I gave the items on the table a good look over to see if I really wanted to buy any of it. Come to find out, it was all my stuff! Well, better end this post, I have to go find some cash so I can buy back my 5 gallon bottle of water that was just delivered to Maya's store.

OIQ
We used to have a saying on Guam, OOG (Only on Guam). Guam had a way of frustrating even the most patient person. So, I was driving down a fairly major street in Doha yesterday and came face to face with this.
As I shook my head the only thing that came to mind was Only In Qatar. For those of you not accustomed to seeing things like this, Yes, that is a camel.
