Break through last night. Gem was acting like she needed to potty so I took her to the potty chair. As soon as her bum hit the seat, she said, ALL DONE! and got up. Then she looked at me and said, peepee and sat down. She totally went! I almost cried. We had a major celebration. Luckily it was Teddys birthday and we had made a cake. This morning, I missed her 1st poopoo but other than than, she has gone in the potty. Hurray! I think this is working. I just need to get her to tell me sooner. We are still having little drops in her panties.

I am now 3 1/2 hours in on day 2. I've had to remove all sharp objects from the house to keep me from hurting myself or those that I love. (just kidding those that don't know me well, I would never hurt myself Ü) I've stopped using the word peepee and have started using the word my mother hates. It also starts with a "p". Maya has gone from my sweet little helper to telling her sister that she hates little girls that pee all over. I'm afraid that if given a chance Judyfe would flee the house. She has started keeping the mop at arms reach. I desperately need CHOCOLATE but have none in the house. Can't leave the house to get chocolate due to the potty training. Wait, there is the kids Easter candy...... Hummmm. Is there a two day spa I could check into here? Did Nikki really do this 5 times? Did Mom do this 6? Were they as crazy as I am right now? I think we are on our 9th pair of panties. But I loose track....

I'm not going to lie to you, yesterday was rough. I think if I would have taken the time to write an update last night I would have told you I was ready to quit. But I'm refreshed and renewed this morning.
Yesterday, she would not go in the potty at all. We did manage to get about 1 tablespoon in the potty chair around 5 pm. I think I'm going to have to have all of my carpets cleaned when this is over. She has now been up for 1 1/2 hours and has yet to go potty. Did I mention that she has had an entire sippy cup of milk? How is she holding it all in? I guess that is all part of the training isn't it. Control. She is happy in her Dora panties. I did tell her that if she peepeed on Dora she would cry. Is that horrible or what? Well she is doing a nice little dance right now all while telling me her panties are dry. Maybe today will be better.....

I've decided to bite the bullet and potty train Gem. The method I tried last time was a disaster. They wanted you to have the child train a dolly how to use the potty. She hated it. She wanted NOTHING to do with that doll. So now I'm on the 3 day potty training method. Keep your fingers crossed that she gets it soon and I don't end up killing myself. There really should be people out there who do this for a fee. I really don't want to do this. I hate it.
We went through the house this morning and gathered up all of the diapers and threw them away. Do there is no turning back. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. I'm stressed to the max! I do have a really good assistant. Maya is my little champ. What would I do without her?
