Well, I didn't have a chance to get on yesterday to report the news. On Wednesday afternoon, Gemma took two steps. That evening she took three and the next morning she took two for her Daddy. We are all very proud of her. Unfortunately I think it may be a while before she does it again. She was trying to walk in the living room and fell into the table. She has a really nasty bump on her head above her ear. Is is bruised and quite ugly.

The Amazing Cranky Gemma
We also discovered why she has been such a cranky baby lately. Tuesday we found one eye tooth and this morning we found another. Hopefully this will be all for a while. I'm looking forward to having my sweet happy baby back.

We Miss you!
We had such a great time with Oba, Oji, Auntie Robyn and Talan. Our house seems really empty but not quiet, thanks to Maya and Gemma. We miss you all and are so glad that you came.

Not Fast Enough
Apparently I wasn't feeding Gemma fast enough so Maya took it upon herself to get the job done. What a great big sister. She is such a help. Sometimes it causes me more work but this time she was very clean and tidy. I love my girls. Does anyone else notice the glare Gemma is giving me?

What beautiful Girls

We had the girls pictures taken this weekend. Talk about painful. Maya has decided to make funny faces instead of nice smiles and Gemma was one crabby baby. Oh well, what can you do!

Like Maya
Gemma wants to be just like her big sister. Maya uses this stool to make breakfast and help me in the kitchen. Gemma can't stand that she isn't up there too. I walked into the kitchen the other day and there she stood. She has also started using this chair toy to climb up on the couch. She stands on the seat and climbs up using the side table. My kid the climber!
