Maya's School Party

We had Maya's school party today. This weekend is all Maya all the time. We will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow as a family and then having a HUGE Hello Kitty party extravaganza on Saturday. I can't believe my baby is 5. I'm going to blink and she will be in college. The fairy cakes were a big hit at school. Got all those kids hyped up on sugar and then sent them home to their parents. Fun day!

Wow!!!

I don't think I have ever been this impressed with a baked good! A friend on mine offered to make these fairy cakes for Maya's birthday. I hope you can see all of the detail in each cake. There are 24 cakes all different! Everything is edible. I feel like I need to take a picture of each cake!

I am amazed and in awe of her. She didn't want me to take a picture of her with the cakes but fortunately she is a fellow scrapbooker and I convinced her that Maya needed it for her scrapbook. Don't tell her I put it on the internet! Shh!

Yummy!

Just a little something on the menu at the Thai restaurant. No, I didn't have any just the Green Chicken Curry for me. Lezlie has been posting a lot of recipes lately. I wonder if this is on her list. Maybe she is saving it for something special, like her Valentine meal!

Oh the Humanity

Went out for a nice dinner for our neighbors birthday and this is what we found when we came back to the car. How can anyone be so reckless? They were parked beside my car and snagged my bumper backing out. At least they left their name (in Arabic) with the security guard. The way things work around here it will take a month to get my car fixed and when it comes back the radio will be broken. Agh!

Watch Me Grow

I saw this super cute template at the Sweet Shoppe and had to do it for my girls. It was fun looking back at their lives and seeing how much they really have grown. I have no idea what their weights were at these ages so they are just a guess. Enjoy!

Shiny and Clean

Guess what we did yesterday! We got our teeth cleaned. Maya was so brave, she just jumped up in the chair and did everything that was asked of her. That is a far cry from last time we took her in. She screamed so much we had to leave without a checkup. Gemma was a little more apprehensive and made me lie in the chair with her. That's Ok, her teeth got cleaned and I got a 1/2 hour long cuddle.

Qatar Exxon Mobil Open

Brian and I went to the Exxon Mobil Open this evening. We were hoping that the finals would be Nadal and Federer but Federer was knocked out in the semi finals. It was an amazing match. Here are a few pics we liked and a little something for the ladies!
