We had a really nice valentines morning. We woke up and made chocolate chip pancakes with pink sprinkles. Tonight Kim and Brian get a date! Yahoo. Wish Saundra was here!
I've never really liked the color of my car so this morning when I woke up, I found that Brian had bought me a new one!
Oh Wait! That is my Car. We had this nasty dust storm roll in yesterday at noon and it is still here nearly 24 hours later. Even in the house you are breathing and smelling and tasting dust. It is disgusting!
This picture dosent do justice. This was taken at 11 in the morning. Usually we have these incredibly blue beautiful skys. Now all we have is tan, tan and more tan.

Pancake Artist! My girls are big fans of pancakes and they are particularly yummy if made into shapes/animals/letters etc. So it was no surprise this morning when Maya asked for pancakes for breakfast. I asked her what shapes she wanted and she asked for a birthday cake, balloons, streamers etc. So here she is with her birthday breakfast. 
Can you believe she is 4? Well I'm off to make pancakes in the shapes of birthday cakes, balloons and streamers as requested.

These are the faces of Hand Foot and Mouth. What is that you say? That is a good question. I didn't know until Thursday night myself. My girlfriend called to say that her son was sent home from school because of it. Of course it is contagious. Within 2 hours Maya was crying with a fever of 103. Saturday she broke out with the spots. Last night Gem started with the fever but as a added bonus is also vomiting. She threw up all over me several times and once in her bed. We were up until 3:30am. Maya has the spots on her face, hands, arms and feet. Gem has one dot by her eye but I'm waiting for more. The best thing you ask? It lasts for 7 days! That means we can't go out and can't do anything on Maya's birthday. What a bummer!
